la reply to the applications for assessment of values under the Land and Income Assessment Act of last session, the Commissioner of Taxes states that by the 31sb January a complete copy of the valuation will be sent to each taxpayer of his or her asseesmenfc. Under the same caver will be forwarded a form for the new return, with fell instructions as to requirements under the net, objection form and copy, and how the taxpayer ia assessed at present. . The objection to assessment must be lodged by the Ist March, and, if necessary, the board will meet in April to consider objections. In cases where no objection ia raised the return uee& not be lodged until Ist Mny.
