THE TIMARU SHOW.
(J?kb United Pbess Association.) Timabd, October 30. The twenty-ninth show of the Timaru A. and P. Association was held here (o-day. The weather was showery and the attendance small. The entries fihowed a slight falling off. Only sheep were judged to-day. In merinos Messrs P. Smith and W. Lyttelton divided honours. Mr F. C. Murray was chief prizetaker in English Leicestera, Meears R. Kelland, A. Grant, and D. Grant beiug the other first prizstakers. For Border Leicesters the Pareora estate secured lifsf place vith 25 points, Me.ssru Douglag and D. Gratt being rqual for second. In Lincolns Mesbis Bruce Bios. Bwept me board, as also did the Levels estate in Romncy Marsh. Messrs Kup.-rt Parry and W. Grant hid honours easy in Shropshires. Mr Sti-iugfr-.ijow won the inbred half bred class, while the Levels estate took the big prize for freezers. The horses, &c. are to be judged to-morrow.
