The anniversary concert and dance in cosntc tion with the thirtieth anniversary nf the Loyi. Tuapeka Pioneer Lodge, M.U.1.0.0.F., was lu-lrt in the Town Hall, Liwrenn-. on Thursday. The tffair passed of very successfully. A tea and fruit service wa. held ouring the concert, the catering being creditably done by Mr Kurmestcr. Sou;;-' Were contributed by Mesdames Mair and Flatwan. Miss R. J. Campbell, and Mersre Uren, Miles. Wood, and Sutherland. The concert concluded with a farce, entitled "S*r*b's A'ciing Man," v/hich created a great deal of amin-eroent. The characters were well sustained by Mrs Mitchell, Misses Slimy and Sutherland, Mmsrs Blair, Lcry, aad Mitchell. A dance was after wards held, in which S<4 couples took 'part.
