LAND BOARD.

The weekly meeting of the Laud Board was attended by the Chief Commissioner (Mr J. P. Maitland), Messrs H. Clark, W. Dallas, J. Dunoan, and A, M'Kerrow.

I'onvEJTtfnK.—The board rescinded the forfeiture of deferred-payment license 4011, Poolburi), the licensee having i>ttid up arrears of interest. Gi.EXOJi-Anti.—Mr J. Ewart wrote in regard to the Cannibal Bay road, Ulenoniaru, and this was referred to the cdnsiderntibn of the Oluthii County Council, with, the, expressed hrtpp ibnt iiieasures might bo taken to afford relief. ,MJ' Ewart's complaint was1 that, thoiigh he had paid rent.for .three years', he had no proper access to his holding.
