THE PIRENOA TRAGEDY.

Wellington, April 28.
Tho friends of Mrs Edmonds, whose husband committed suicide at Pirenoa, deoy that sho left her husband, and stat3 that she merely returned to Wellington to attend her cousin's wedding in a fortnight. Her husband joined her, and they returned tx Pirenoa on Thursday. It is also stited that Edmonds had b-ea in tba habit of using threats of violence and fburishiug a gun and cartridges. April 29. No further particulars aro to hand relative to the suicido of Herbert Edmonds, schoolmaster at Pirenoa. Inspector Pender left yesterday afternoon for the purposo of being present at the inquest.
