Shepherd.—Suddenly, at her residence, Rattray street, Agnes, the beloved wife of Robert Shepherd ; aged 52 years. Deeply regretted. Aberdeen papers please copy. IN MEHORIAH. Lawrex'cE.—ln loving remembrance of Edward Lawrence, who lost his life while bathing at Ocean Beach, Dunedin, on the 27th April 1593. We loVed him! Yes; no tongue can tell How much we loved him, and how well. Jesus, too, loved, and thought it best To take him to his home of blest. It was sad to part on earth from one we loved so dear, But harder still to part without one farewell word or tear. —Inserted by his loving parents, brothers, and sisters.
