AUCKLAND v. CANTERBURY.
(Peb United Press Association.) Chbistchukch, January 6. The Interprovincial cricket match Auckland v. Canterbury was resumed at Lancaster Park to-day. The Canterbury team,, with 302 runs to their credit for the loss of one wicket, resumed their first innings. Lawrence took his score to 167 before he was disposed of. At 12.5 the Canterbury total was 400 for the loss of five wickets, and the innings waa then declared closed. Auckland commenced their . second innings 243 runs to the bad, but were unable to make a stand against the bowling of Robertson and Labatt, the ksfc wicket falling for 87, of which Kaliander made 33 by fine, clean hitting.
