Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report under date October 2:— Prices ruled as follows at our auction sale to-day :— Oats.—Dull of sale, and prices weaker. Prime short, Is Hid to 2s; medium, Is lOd to Is lid (sacks extra). Wheat.—Milling, 2s 7d to 2s ]0d; fowls' wheat, 2s 3d to 2s 6d (sacks in). Barley.—Malting, 3s 9d to 4s ; feed, 2s to 2s 6d (sacks extra). Potatoes.—Firm. Prime Derwents, £4 15s .to .£5; inferior £4 103 to £412s fid (sacks in). . Chaff .—Scarce.
