Manse street, report March 23 •— luuuuce Market barely supplied with good dessert pears and any really good sorts meet with ready sale' Apples are still over-stocked, and prices very low Prices as follows :-Pears, lid to 3dperlb ; apples' 2s 6d to 8s per case; plums, peaches, apricots— none; lemons per case, 16s ; oranges, 8s 6d to 10s • bananas, 2Jd to 24d—received 300 bunches this week. Grapes are not so plentiful, and expect the best hothouse to rise next week. Present prices, 9d to lOd; small and inferior, 6d to Bd. Produce.—Eggs are scarce. Fresh butter in fair supply; salt is in demand, 7d to 7Jd. Bacon has good inquiry, 5Jd to 6d per roll; hams, 7d to 8d • pigs in good demand, 3d to 31d.
