NOTICE TO CORRESPONDENTS.
Mr Clement White writes suggesting that it would be better, perhaps, to welcome Mr H. M. Stanley on the platform of the Garrison Hall rather than meet him at the railway station. He suggests that the chancellor of the University, the mayor and councillors, and citizens who take an interest in scientific matters, ■should attend the first lecture and give Mr Stanley a right royal .welcome.
