MANIOTOTO RACES. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Naseby, January 29. The following concludes the report of the second day's races:—

At the Takapuna races, Aucklaud, Fishmonger (10.10) won the Hurdles, paying a dividend of L5 ss. The Zealandia Handi°aP was won % Stamford (6.7), paying L27 19s. The Takapuna Cup, one mill and a-half, fell to Patchwork (7.12) mfc^ M Q asterJPat (7.2) second and Coat scuttle (8.0) third. The dividend was U 17s. Brown Alice wonthe Anniversary Stakes, carrying 8.12, with His Worship (9.1) second and Queen Bee (7.7) third. The dividend was LI 12s. In the Steeplechase, Nap (10.6) beat nine others and paid L5 7s. Orakei broke his neck and died.

A Melbourne cablegram states that a demonstration has been made in favour of Bungebah for the Newmarket Handicap, and his price is now 100 to 11. A thousand to LSO was accepted about Steadfast, Titan, St. Blaize, and Bengal.

Mr Hoben, secretary pro tern, to the New Zealand Rugby Union, has received a communication from the Brisbane Union asking that in the event of a New. Zealand team visiting New South Wales this year the trip' be extended to Queensland.
