PERCH FISHING AT TOMAHAWK LAGOON. TO THE EDITOR.

Sir, —Seeing " Disgusted's" letter in yours of to-day, I have much pleasure in inviting him to a seat in our boat for a day's perch fishing and instructing him how to catch them, free of charge. AA'e will be on the lagoon, if all is well, on AA'ednesday morning at 4 o'clock, when we will be glad of " Disgusted's" company. I have been fishing during the last 14 days in company with a few friends, a ranger included on four different occasions, with rod and line only. AA'e were fortunate enough to catch with this legalised and sportsmanlike implement 951 perch, more or less, weighing from |lb to 31b each.—l am, &c., Geo. AA'ebster. AVater of Leith Mill, Dunedin, December 14.
