WANGANUI STEEPLECHASE MEETING. . The following weights have been declared for the Wanganui Steeplechase meeting :— Hunter Steeplechase Handicap.—Dangerouß 11.6, Piako 11.0, leata 10.13, Yardman 10 8, Attache lß.a.pable 10.0, Ahdul (late Blnuuui) 10.0, Kata 10.0. Trial Stkbplhchasb Handicap. — Whalebone 11.11, Mir Maurice 11.0, Ghriitmaa 10.7, Yardman 9.9, Bidge D 9, Karewa 9.8, Gentle Annie 9.7, Cable 9.7.
At the Egmont races the Final Steeplecase was won by Whalebone, the dividend being £1 16s. The horee Sir Maurice died from the injuries he received.
