DUNEDIN HORSE SALEYARDS.
Weekly Eepobt. Wmqht, Stsphemson, and Co. report at follows :— Ihe entry for tc-day's sale was a veiy small one, and owing no doubt to the miserably wet day the attendance of farmers and other buyers was not large. Most of the horses entarcd were town and dealers' lots, very fow of which fouad buyers. There are inquiries for shipment for heavy draught mates and geldings, and unbroken draught colta and fillies of a class that would turn out to be good useful sorts for farm or town work. We quote :—Heally first-class heavy draught geldings, £20 to £25; medium draught horses, £12 to £18; light and aged draught horses, £7 to £10; good apringoarters, £10 to £15; 'well-matched carriage pairs, as described above, £40 to £50; well-matched buggy pairs, as described above, £30 to £10; first-class hunters, aj desciibed above, £20 to £30.
