WOOL SALES.
Tell fourth wool sale of the season took place on 6th inst. at the Chamber of Commerce Kooms, when about 3000 bales were submitted. There was a larger attendance of buyers than before—several fresh purchasers being represented- the general result of the Bale being mueli about the Bamo as the laßt. Bright clean halfbreds wero in keen request, and Bold at rst.her more mousy thr\u fit the previous auction, ciTOßbreds alto maintaining full rates. Tho London cables reporting a decline of from 5 to 7J per cent, in merinos had its effect upon prices for this class of wool, values for Buch ruling on the average nearly £d per lb lower. Other descriptions beyond those referred to were unchanged.
