OAMARU CRIMINAL SESSIONS.

Thi; Supreme Court Criminal Sessions opened and closed to-day before Mr Justice Williams There were nine charges against Michael Morgan and James Anderson for house-breaking and larceny. On one of these the accused were convicted after trial, and they then pleaded guilty on two others, and tho Crown prosecutor entered anolle prosequX in tbe remainder. Anderson was sentenced to seven years' and Morgan to five years' imprisonment. Thomas Cooper pleaded guilty to forgery, and was placed under probation for a year. Ah Goon, a Chinese, for housebreaking, was sentenced to nine months' imprisonment, and Thomas Rooney got two years' imprisonment for forgery.
