THE KAIWARRA MURDER. ANOTHER LIBEL SUIT. (PER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
Wellington, September 9. The Evening Post has received a writ from Mr Charles Bowles, of Carterton, claiming £1000 damages for alleged libel contained in one of the affidavits forwarded by Mr Jellicoe to the Governor in re Chemis, stating that he (Bowles) had blood stains upon his trousers which could not have been caused by killing sheep.
