FRIENDLY SOCIETIES.

Una fortnightly meeting of Lelth Lodge, 1.0.0.V., was held in the Oddfellows' Hall, Albany street; on Monday evening. An official visit was received from the officers and members of Linden Lodge. There were alao some visitors from the Pioneer Lodge. The Reunion Committee reported a surplus of a few pounds for the benevolent fund. Degreo Master Bro Alexander reported that, on behalf of the Grand Lodge, and assisted by N.G. Bro. Strachan and P.G. Sec. Bro. Millar, of Lelth Lodge, they had visited,Popotunoa Lodge, Clinton, for purpeses of Instruction, and to pass members in their degrees. Seventeen members passed the third decree. The lodge had secured the use of the new Mown Hall in Clinton for their meetings. Therewas an excellent attendance of members. Broß. W. Turnbull S M'Donald, and D. M'Donald were eleotcd trustees; Bros. Simmonds. Christie, and) Gordon, auditors; and Bros. Geddes (N.G.), Stock (V.G,), Conradi (secretary), and A. M'Donald (treasurer), Sick, Visiting, nnd Standing Committees. The delegates from Dunedin were entertained by N.G. Bro. Geddes in a liberal manner, and returned to Tunedin by the 6.10 a.m. train.
