An Ashbuiton telegram in last evening's Oamaru Mail states that the Ashburton Cup, for dogs of all ages, was won by Mr Lees' Yorkshire Lass, by Forest Lad—Telltale 11. The runner-up was Me 0. U. Wise's Effie Dean 3, *y Bordeaux—Bab. The Tinwald Stakes, for puppies, was divided by Mr Forward's Cottage Girl, by Lucifer —Fenella, and Mr Patching's Forest Queen, by Foreit Lad—Ruby.
