ANNIVERSARY TEA MEETING,

The anniversary tea meeting in connection with the Congregational Church, Port Chalmers, was held on Tuesday evening in the Foresters' Hall There was a large attendance, including a number of vimtors from .Dunedin. The tables were tuesWed' over by the following ladies :-Mesdames M'Donald, Bolton, M'Kenzie, Eitcliie. Grant. Bauchop, Keale, Cnckniore. Perry, and Hodge- assisted by m^?S! H«;Se.,-Bitehie, Mo!gan, White. Weale M'Kinlay (2), M'Kenzie, Davidson, Crow, Myriad', Grey.'Anderson, and Bauchop. After tea an adjournment was made to the church, when the pastoHer. W. M. The TractDistributing Society under Mr M'JCenzie was dofng good work. The Udies' weekly sewing meetings™! been carried on. and £11 Had 1 een raised by theia towards the repairs of tie church. The sum of £12 14s 8d was contributed for the year to the Consreoational Lnion, and the Sabbath school scfcolaFs atid collectors had contributed the Bum of fd 18s 2d to the London Missionary Society, and £6Ohadbeeu expended during the year on repairs to the 'church Mr J.Morgan tuen read the financial report.
