Tho following awards are made by the exhibition jurors:—For silversmith's work and jewellery: S. Kohn (Wellington), first; S. Danneforn and Co. (Auckland), second. Fine arts department: Mrs Rowan, Miss Kate E. Sparry (Wellington), the late John Gnlly (Nelson), firsts; Miss Kate E. Sperry (Wellington), Miss Jenny Wimperis (Dunedin), J. Peele (Amberley), A. H. Gear (Christchurch), and L. Drummond(Auckland), seconds ; Miss Isabel Hodgkins (Dunedin), C Chapman, Rose Budden (Christchurch), Miss Sperrey (Wellington), 11. Atkinson (Auckland), William Gibb (Chiistchurch), Miss T. E. Richardson (Wellington), Frances Mary Wimperis (Duncdin),T. L. Drummond (Auckland), A. Beet-ham (Christchurch), A. H.
Gear (Christchurch), thirds ; K. Wat-kins, J. Gant (Wellington), B. A. Branfeldson. fourths, In etching, J. L. Steel (Auckland) second. The jurors were greatly interested in the varied display of works of art from New Zealand. They gave expression to the deep regret they felt at the loss art suffered in New Zealand by the death of Mr John Gully.
