Smith and Smith v. W. J. Percival (Purakaimi)^— Claim £5 12s lOd, on a judgment summons. There was no appearanca of, or on behalf of, the defendant.—The plaintiffs asked for an order.—lt was stated that the defendant had been retrenched from the Government service, in which he had formerly been employed as a draughtsman. Dunedin Brewery Company v. J. Shirley (Forfrrose).—Claim £9, for beer supplied. Mr Sim appeared for the plaintiff company, for whom judgment was given by default for the amount claimed, with costs.
