Last evening the Columbia Rink was crowded upstairs and down by n very largo concourse of visitors who had attended from all parts of the town to watch the mueh-talked-of turkey hunt. Twelve competitors wero blindfolded and we-e turned thrice round by a attending <ach one, and then the search lor the prize common- cd. Mr Anderson officiated a3 judge, nnrl Lliu turkey was manipulated from the celling. In about 10 minutes from the start the prize was eap^ uro 1 by Mr Kemultz, who ■was heartily cheerel when the manager presented him with the token of his victory. As usual all - details wero admirably curled out. On Saturday evening the final lieat uf the bandsmen's raca will bo decided and tho prize pri/sented.
