ANGLICAN CHURCH BAZAAR.
A bazaar iv aid of tho debt existent on Holy Trinity Church at l'orfc Chalmers was held on the 7th iiist-. in the Garrison Hall. The hall was completely tilled, and the hand, under Mr M'Comiiill, discoursed some excellent music. The interior of the building was very prettily decorated with ferns, (lags, aud (lowers, aud live large stalls were devoted to the sale of ornamental aud useful articles. These stalls were presided over by the following ladies:—
No. 1: Mesdamcs Dixoti, Allen, and Leonard, with tin; .Missus Ciemison.
No. 2: Mesdames Platts, Ciemison, an,l Chapman, with tho Misses Dale and Irvine.
No. a : Mrs Pullur had charge, and wjs assisted by tho Misses Downes, Ciemison, al'Dcrmid, and Dodds.
No. 1 stall was in charge of Miss Platts, with whom was associated the Misses Dale, Lees, Hare, Lewis, and Mills.
The refreshment stall, which was tho cynosure oft he whole place, v/i,j ably presided over by aies.lam.-s Waters aud Chick.
Tho ijaaii!.r was opeued at d p m. (after the playing of the National Anthem by the Garrison Band) by Mr J. Jlills U.H.R., member for the district, who in a very faw well chosen words explained the object for which it was held,
