SERIOUS CHARGES AGAINST MR W. BLUNT.

[By Kleotpio Telegraph.—Copyright.]

(Per Pbess Association.) London, February 18, Kcoaived February^!,nt 11.20 a.m.)

Spurred by the judge's remark when dismissing the appeal made by Mr Wilfred Blunt against his conviction for taking part in proclaimed meetings, that he (Blunt) had not come in court with clean hands, and was really guilty of acts of insurrection, tho police have been industriously collecting evidence against Blunt, and have now obtained evidence of a most damaging character, showing that he was a principal in organising boycotting on the Marquis of Clanricardc's estate ; and, further, that through his action and incitement to resistance, eight murders were committed in 13 months. Considerable sympathy is f.:lt for Blunt throughout Great Britain, as well as Ireland.
