(Beceived February 21, at 1.20 p.m.) The poll-tax of £10 which is exacted from all Chinese landing in the colony is expected to put a stop to tho sudden invasion of Chinese to Port Darwin en route for the ruby mines. Should, however, this course failiall vessels arriving with Chinese will be quarantined until the Legislative Assembly can pass regulations restricting their admission into South Australia. Tho authorites in Victoria and New South Wales are in accord wiili the authorities here in preventiug an influx of Chinese. SERIOUS RAILWAY ACCIDENT. Houart, February 21.
