INGLIS Beg respectfully to intimate that they have purchased, for Prompt Cash, the WHOLE of the STOCK in the Assigned Estate of T ESLIE, LANE, DOBIE, & CO.. .ft U General Drapers, Clothiers, Outfitters, Ac. Opposite Post Office, Princes street, Dunedin. The WHOLE STOCK, amounting to Ten thousand eight hundred and thirty-six pounds ten shillings and eightpence sterling (£10,836 10s 8d) at Cost Price, was bought for Three thousand eight hundred pounds sterling (£3800), or in other words ONE POUND’S (£1) WORTH OF GOODS For SEVEN SHILLINGS (7s). In order to facilitate the Sale of the Goods with as much despat ch as possible, we have removed a large portion of the Stock to our Premises in George street, as we find t'uo Space at Leslie, Lane, Dobie, and Co.’s premises is not sufficient to lay out the whole of the Goods to advantage. In the FANCY DEPARTMENT, Cart-loads of Laces and Ribbons at your own prices, Collars, Lace Collars, Cuffs, &c,, at Prices never before heard of. Large quantities of Flouncing Laces, Embroideries, Ties, Scarves, &c. In HOSIERY, GLOVES, and HABERDASHERY of every description the prices will astonish everyone.
