Tho four imiinislied games in the recent match between the liiveroaruill Chess Club imd the Ouuedin Chess and I)rnughts Club, which were referred to Mr John Mount, solicitor, Dunediu, as adjudicator, have been decided ne follows:—The games between MrW. L. Christie and Mr C. W Tanner, Mr D. L. Christie and Mr A. G. Stewart, Mr G. Go:don and Mr J. lidwr.rds have been declared draws, ami Die one between Mr H. J. Dny and Mr W. Willoox is declared a win for Invercargill. The final score is therefore—Duusdin, three wins ; Invercargill, three wins; drawn, three. The match has resulted in a drawn battle, and there will no doubt bo another friendly trial of skill before very long.
