Judgment was given for the plaintiffs, with costs, m the following undefended cases — Otago Daily Times v. J. AVilliams, claim £2 17s bd, ror subscriptions; same v. A. Marlin, £2 4s • w. G. Neill v. J. Henderson, £25 3s Od, on two promissory notes.

A. Johnston v. R. Lorimer.—Claim £10 16's Oil, on a judgment summons.—After evidence had been given, his AVorship refused to make au order.

AY. Higginson v. J. Carter.—Claim £2 2s, for meat supplied.—Judgment was given for the amount claimed, with costs. Keast and M'Carthy v. J. S. Officer (Invercargill)._Claim £3G 10s lOd, 011 two promissory notes.-Mr Kettle appeared for the plaintiff company.—Judgment was given for the plaintiff for £17 lis Gd and costs. J. Pickering v. Henry Richmond.—Claim £15. in this previously heard case his AVorship gave judgment for the defendant with costs. George Butler v. W. Jones.—Claim £57105.— Mr Barclay appeared for tho plaintiff, and Mr A. Bathgate for tho defendant.—This partly heard case was concluded, when judgment was given for thu plaintiff for £20 4s and costs. J. Sanderson v. The Peninsula Road Board.— t.iaim ilO, for injury to the plaintiff's horse owing to tho neglect of the road board to repair a. road under its control—Mr J. Macgregar appeared lor the plaintiff, and Mr Sim for the road board.—After the case had been partly heard, it was adjourned until Friday.
