Auckland, July 10 HAUHAUISM.
I'urther developments of Hauhauism in the Waihou district (Hokianga) are reported, one set ot Hauhaus destroying half-a-dozen cattle belonging to the other band, with whom thevari at feud.
RAILWAY APPEAL BOARD,
An agitation is being got up here to secure the establishment of a board of appeal, as in the South, to which officers in the Railway department might have recourse against unjust or harsh decisions.
A SOLICITOR FILES.
Things must be getting very bad when lawyers begin to go ; but such seems to be the state of affairs now, for Mr George Nathaniel Brassey, solicitor, has filed bis petition in tlw Bankruptcy Court to be adjudicated a bankrupt.
POLITICAL,
An attempt is being made to get the Trades anel Labour Council, Radical Reform League, and Industrial Association to agree on a common political platform so as to secure the success of their candidates in all city constituencies
