RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

Commercial Property and Finance Co. v. M. Coventry. — Application to. recover possession of certain premises.—Mr Kettle appeared for the company. Order made to give up possession forthwith, with costs.
J. Wallace v. R. Wallace.—Claim £169 9s 4d, for goods supplied.—ln this case Mr Stanford applied for a rehearing on behalf of the defendant, on the ground that fresh evidence had been found since the case was tried.— Mr Kettle, for the plaintiff in' the former case, opposed the application.—His Worship refused to grant a rehearing, remarking that, there had been a large amount of false swearing in the case already, and he would not give ah opportunity of having any more of it.
C. Georgeson and Co. v. R. Portello.—Claim £19 9s 3d, for goods supplied.—Mr Sim appeared for plaintiffs, and Mr Wi D. Stewart for the defendant.—After some evidence had been taken the case was adjourned for two weeks.
