I, the undersigned, do this day make tiie foil .wing statement in hopes that otlier fathers who have any children suffering with fits may notice it:—My 6ou, aged 14, was suffering from fits nearly three years. I tried different remedies without any relief. I called on Dr Speer, Palmerston Buildings, foot of Queen street. He examined him, and said he would treat him. After taking his medicine one week I could see a change in him, and he is still keeping well. I can only, in justice to Dr Speer, recommend otlier parents who have children suffering from the same disease to use his remedy.—Respectfully yours, James Wright, Pukekohe.

Wellington, lbth July 1888. I beg to state that for a long time I have been suffering from physical and nervous debility. Some five months ago, when Dr Speer was in Auokland, I wrete and placed myself under his treatment, and am now gratified to say I am perfectly cured and a sound, healthy man again. I cannot speak too highly of Dr Speer, as he has succeeded when otlier doctors failed, and that without even Bceing me until to-day, when I first |had the pleasure of Bpeaking to him* H. Bannkbuax, of Masterton, Troutd Boarding house, Howe's Lane, Wellington, 3rd June 1886. I, James Brown, of above address, wish to state that for some three months I have been suffering from general bad health, by which I have been compelled to knock off work, and some disease of the eye, by which I was gradually losing my Bight. I have been under three doctors in Wellington, but without effect. I have tried Dr Speer, and in ten days he has so far cured me that I intend working next-week, and he has also nearly restored my eyesight. I am prepared to swear to above facts before any Justice of the Peace, and wish to oall the attention of the public to this rapid cure. Jahks Brown (his X mark), Witness—W. J. Sullivan.

A Great Public Benefactor.—l say without hesitation, that the arrival of Dr H. J. Speer in New Zealand is a godsend. Tho man is a wonder as a physician. I called upon him a few weeks ago with the expectation that he would ask a lot of questions, as otlier doctors do, and, ln fact, I commenced to tell him how I felt. He held up his hand and said, " Stop I If I cannot givo you all the symptoms and tell you just how you feel without asking a question, I will not treat you." To my astonishment he located every pain, explained in detail how I felt better than I could myßelf. After months of agony, I am well to-day. Everything he did for me aotod like a charm. I will go bofore any J.P. and swear to the above, 3. Boutweh., Kumeu, Auokland. Auckland, 20th February, 1886. We, John and Elizabeth Porter, of 77, Durham street, Auckland, herewith state that our child Gertrude Beatrice, aged about five and a-half years, has been suffering for some months from spinal disease. She has had the attendance of several doctora, aud we were obliged at last to taite her to the Auckland Hospital. She was there some five weeks, and was gradually dying, being unable to walk, eat, or sleep, when we saw Dr Speer's advertisement, and as a last resource took her to him. She was at that time enveloped i" a nlaster of Paris jacket. We are now thankful to say that Bno too nearly recovered; she can almost walk alone, sleeps well, and cats three hearty meals each day. We make this 6tateme«t entirely unsolicited by Dr Speer, out of sheer gratitude to him, and as a small return for all the time, attention, and medicine which he has given gratuitously on learning our circumßtanceß, and also to call the attention ;of tho public to what we cannot but consider a re- ' markaWe cure. _ John Pobtkhj Father of the child.
