OUR VOLUNTEERS.

There was a very good nm&ter of volunteers at the Garrison Hall yesterday morning,, where a number of the city and suburban corps met for church parade. Colonel Whitmore was also present on .parade, aud so were the Ordnance Garrison, and Kaikorai bands. The churches attended by the different companies were St. Joseph's Cathedral, St. Matthew's, St. Paul's, Knox, aud the First Church. The parade state was as follows :— ORDNANCE ba-italiox. The Dunedin Cavalry wero also on parade. The Wakari Rifles held their first handicap match on Saturday afternoon for the company's prizes. The ranges were 200, 500, and 600 yds.
