The cricket match Australians v. Sussex was resumed at Brighton to-day. The weather was fine, and the attendance goodThe Home team, who had one wicket down for 24 runs on the previous day, continued their first innings. They remained at the wickets all day, and when the stumps were drawn tlie score of the Englishmen stood at 1122 with seven wickets down. The most successful batsmen were J. H. Brain, 101; F. M. Lucas, 81; and W. Newharn, 40.

The cricket match Australians v. Sussex was resumed at Brighton to-day. The Englishmen continued their first innings, which closed for 352, F. M. Lucas (not out, 113) being tho principal scorer. The Australians, who were 102 behind their opponents on the lirst innings, went in for their second innings, and at the conclusion of the day's play seven wickets were down for 300. Scott (caught, +3), Palmer (caught, 84), and Trurable (not out, 52) made the best scores for the visitors. Time did not permit of the game being played out, and the match was therefore declared drawn.
