THE VICTORIAN WHEAT YIELD. Melbourne, April 17. (Ueceived April 17, at noon.)

Mr Hayter, Government statist, in his agricultural statistics for the Colony of Victoria for the past season, gives the wheat yield as averaging S'99 bushels to the acre. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, in their grain circular just issued, adopt this basis, and estimate that, after allowing for the wants of the Colony, 20,000 tons will be available for export. The demand for New South Wales and Queensland, however, will completely absorb any surplus; hence they anticipate a gradual rise iv prices.

(Received April 17, nt noon.) The Board which was appointed to examine into the circumstances surrounding the recent alleged importation of Asiatic cholera into the Coloi.y by R.M.S. Dorunda have published their report that the disease was undoubtedly cholera. SMALLPOX. Adelaide, April 17. (Itcceived April 17, »fc noon.) On the arrival of the Orient Company's R.M.S. Chimborazo at this port yesterday afternoon the medical officer of the vessel reported to the health authorities that he had a ease of smallpox on board. The patient was lauded and placed in quarantine.
