(Fib Uhictd Pmm amomatioh.) Tho customs revenue collected in the Colony lor February amounted to £99,606, as against £124 495 for the corre>p..nding month of last year. Of last mon'.h'a amount Auckland contributed £23,312; Wellington, £17,529; Lyttelton and Christchurch, £13,182; Dunedin, £27.624. At all the ports there was a slight decreaeo as compared with the corresponding month of 1881, except at Kaipara, Tauranga, Plcton, Qreymouth, and Ojmaru. For the 11 months of the financial year the customs rovenue of the Colony has amounted to £1,270,635, which shows a Burplus of £16,219 over the Colonial Treasurer's estimate fcr that period. The beer duty revenue last month was £4857, while the same month last year it was £5112. The amounts collected wero-at Auckland, £1089; Wellington, £4C9; Christchurch, £977; Dunedin, £1046. As with the customs, there was a decreaae on the amount collected as compared with February 1881. Tha only districts which showed an increase of duty collected are Auckland, Now Plymouth, Nelson, Westport, Greymouth, and Invercarcill. The total amount for 11 months ot the year is £50,791, which is a surplus of £377 over the Treasurers estimate.
