Sjb,—l suppose the licensed victuallers will fee exceedingly gratified at the news in this morning's issuo of Mr Stout's resignation of bis position on the Jjjcensipg Bench, and will in nowise regret having given him their support during the late contest, having now, for three yeara or so, removed their greatest opponent, and the staunchest advocate of the early-closing movement.—l am, &c, F.
