OCEAN BEACH DOMAIN BOARD.
Tho first meeting of tho Ocean Beach Domain Board was held at noon yesterday, in the office of the Land Board. There wero present— Messrs E. 13. Cargiil, 11. Driver, M.H.R., G, G. Russell, R. Rutherford, J. P. Maitland, and Captain Baldwin.
On.the motion of Mr Russeix, seconded by Mr Caugill, ii was unanimously resolved that Mr Maitlaud bo appointed chairman. It was resolved Unit the Chairman give notice that any persons found taking sand from the Sandhills, or committing depredations of any kind, will bo prosocuted, and that the in-
spector of police be requested to notify to the Board any cases of the above. Mr Caikuix proposed, Captain Baldwin seconded, and it was carried—" That applica-
tion bo made to the Government for a small grant of money to meet preliminary expenses, the Domain Board being at present without any revenue whatever."
