Judgment was given for plaintiffs by default in the following cases:—J. Guthrie v. C. Sproule, claim £12 12s, for goods supplied; Mollison, Huthie, and Col v. H. Brosnahan, £3 19s 4d;- T. Hiitchinson v. F. Dalziel, £3 4s; Proctors, Jones, and Co. v. P. M.- Dawson, £G7 15s 8d; James Casey v. The Mayor and Borough Council of West Harbour, £64 3s 9d, money due on a contract j M. Lieber v. J. Mac'tellar, £17, for goods supplied. " G-. Tumbull v. J. Smith. —Claim £15, damages for alleged trespass of defendant's sheep on plaintiff's land at the Taieri. —Mr Denniston appoared for plaintiff, Mr Stout for defendant j and after hearing evidenoe, his Worship reserved judgment. J. Smith v. Geo. Turnbull.—Claim £10, damages for the detention of plaintiff's sheep by defendant. 1-Mr Stout appeared for the plaintiff; Mr Denniston for the defendant.— Judgment was given for defendant. &
