Peter Paxton v. Benjamin Gibson. —Claim £2 15s, for jewellery sold. — Mr Callan ap- § eared for the plaintiff, and Mr White for the efendant.—Judgment was given for the plaintiff for £2 4s and costs.
John Fargie v. James Todd.—Claim £1913g 9d, on a judgment summons.—Defendant was ordered to pay the amount by 10th of August, or in default 10 days' imprisonment. William Wilson v. John Reekie. — Claim 16s, witness' expenses. —Mr Denniston appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr E. Cook for the defendant. —Judgment was given for 14s. John Lacey v. Robert Goodison.—Claim £7 Bs, for goods supplied.—Judgment went for the plaintiff by default. Heniy Guthrie v. Robert Binnie,—Claim £3 6s sd, for lighterage fees.—Mr Stout appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr Denniston for the defendant, —Plaintiff was nonsuited.
Wm, Goodison V, Ge»rge Harrington.—Claim £8, for illegal detention of two cows.—Mr E. Cook, appeared for the defendant.—After a portion of the evidence had been taken, the case was adjourned until Monday next.
