Present — Messrs K. Ramsay {.chairman), A. H. Ross, W. J. M. Ijarnach, R. Paterson, and H. Guthrie. FINANCE. The bank-book showed a debit balance of £8092 5s lid. Accounts amounting to £1830 Is 2d werff passed for payment. coal dues. ' It was resolved—" That the secretary ba instructed to put clause 179 of the Otago Harbour Board bye-lawa into force as regards coal duos, under the svdvioe of the solicitors." TENDKKS. Tenders were received for the supply of capper and brass work, foundry work, timber, and ironmongery. Mr Paterson expressed the opinion that it was inadvisablo to let the foundry work by tender; and other members agreeing, it was resolved to. remit consideration of the matter to the Works Committee.
