Thubsday, 23rd September. (Before his Honor Judge Harvey.) PATTIKSON V. THE TUANSATLANTIC INSURANCE COMPANY. In this case, in which a verdict had been previously given for the defendants, Mr Denniston applied for a new trial, as additional evidence, which would materially strengthen the plaintiff's case, had been obtained. Mr Haggitt opposed the application, on the grounds that it had Dot been made soon enough according to. the rules of the Court, and that the plaintiff could not make out a caee._ His Honor refused to grant a new trial.
