' The Hawke'i) Bay and Marlborough Rivers Net Bill, and Kumara Education Eeusrve BUI were read a third time. COMMITTEE. The Council went into Committes on various little bills. , THK KINROSS CASE. The Natira-Affairs Cjmmittfe reported on a petition n the Kinross case, that the Council ought to allow its officers to appear as witnesses in any future trinl, or itself institute proceedings ngairst Mr ICinrons. The report was objected to by some hon. members, who asserted that it condemned Mr Kinross unheard. . Tiiera.was upon this n discussion lasting ovsr an hour, in which 12 members took part, after which the debate was adjourned on a division by 22 votes to 10. ADJOURNMENT.
