Benmore ia situate-d ou the Main Line of Railway frem Invercargill to Kingston, about 32 miles from the former placo. 'The line skirts the pre.pe.rty, and there is a Railway Station within half a mile of the Homestead. Tho land consists mostly of excollent agricultural Boil, suitable for the growth of any description of grain or other crops, and can, with the exception of a 6mall portion, bo all ploughud. Good roads intersect the estate, and, with railway communication close by, the position is rendered an admirable one for tho despatch of produce to market. Benmore is surrounded by valuablo properties, all being rapidly brought into a high state of cultivation ; and since the productive nature of the soil in the district has become so well known, the demand for land in the locality is constantly increasing, with a corresponding advance in value. HENRY DRIVER, (on behalf of tha New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited), has received instructions from J. F. Kitching, Esq., of Mo. Flat, to offer for private sale some 400 to 500 Morino Rams, 2 and 4 tooth. These roms are the progeny of those magnificent sheep purchased by Mr Kitching, regardless of cost, at the sale of the Walwera Stud Flock, which sheep were got by rams selected by the late W. A. Tolmie, Esq , from the noted flocks of David Taylor, Esq, Tasmania, which contained, among others, that celebrated ram Sir Thomas, sold when aged for the sum of 680 guineas. Intending buyers should make early enquiry, aa from the well-known character borne by these flocks, it is expected thore will be numerous applications for those now offered.
