London, January 15th. It is the French Government's intention to terminate all treaties of commerce with England in January next. The Glasgow Bank has declared a dividend of 63 Sd in the £. An explosion in the Poutyfield Mine killed 58 persons. A reduction in rates of discount is expected. London, January 15th. Two thousand Communists are amnestied. The signature of the President to the pardon will be definitely attached to-morrow. A tremendous conflagration occurred in New York, a large wholesale clothes store being completely destroyed. The estimated loss is 2,000,000 dol. (Special to the Press Association.) London (undated). Yel[ow fever has appeared in Jamaica, and is rapidly spreading. The German Government are vigorously supporting the Sydney Exhibition. The barque Schiehallion, from Auckland, owned by fcihaw, Savill, and Co., London, was totally wrecked in the Channel. The passengers and crew wsre saved. The cargo is insured in New Zealand Offices, An explosion took place at the Rhondda mine by which 60 persons were killed.
The French Minister of War has suddenly resigned.
