MASONIC.

The annual convocation of tie Jf.yee Royal Aroh Chipter, Nj. 942, E. 0., was held on the 14th instant at the Masonic Hall, Port Chalmers. After the transaction of tho ordinary business of tho mooting, a board of instilled principals was formed, at which (among otheis) Kx. Companions A Myers, K. Nathan, H. James, and G. Smith, P M.E.Z.V, wore present Ex. Companion A. Myers, acting as installing ollicor, installed Kx. Companions E. Ritchie as SI E Z., C. do Longueviliu Graham as 11, and W. The Chapter was afterwards clmsh i in due form, and the Companions sat down to a bnnqu-1, at which the usual loyal and RA. M-.ec.uie Wits wore duly honoured, several excellent songs wore rendered, and amo t onj yable evening was fused. A vote of thinks was ordered to bo recorded on the minutes to Kx. Companions Slj'ars, Nathan, James, and Smith, for the very efficient manner in which they performed the ceremonies appertaining to the installation of tha principals of the Chapter.
