These tarns are the progeny of thoße magnificent sheep purchased by Mr Kitching, regardless of cost, at the sale of the Waiwera Stud Flock, which sheep were got by rams selected by the late W. A. Tolmle, Esq , from the noted flocks of David Taylor, Esq, Tasmania, which contained, among others, that celebrated ram Sir Thomas, cold when aged for the sum of 680 guineas.
