As a racehorse, he is undoubtedly a first-class horse when fit, as .his performance on last St. Andrew's Day .warrants, as he beat Fishhook two miles wirininj? veiy easily in 3 minutes 45 seconds, with 8-stone up. ■As a sire, after his racing ia over, he cannot be surpassed, as he is, w'thout exception, one of the best bred horses in the' Colonies, embracing both Yattendon and Premier blood.
