The football match, Auckland v. Wellington, began at 2 30 this afternoon, Wellington winning by 15 points. The score was as lollpws :—-Wellington '•: 8 rises, equal to 4 points ; 3 tries, equal to 6 ; 1 goal, equal to 6; total; 16 points. Auckland: 2 rises,. -equal to 1 point. Campbell, of Wellington,; kicked three times for a try at the goal, and only succeeded once. The: Auckland team appeared to ,be completely -overmatched,; both iv weight and play.
