Wellington, April 28th. A singular and fatal accident happened at the Mount View Lunatic Asylum yesterday. Mrs Galbraith was visiting two imbeciles] children of hers. One, about twelve years old, managed, unobserved, to get hold of a bottle of syrup of chloral, and drank most of it. A doctor was called in, but the child died soon after. All the single girls by the Edwin Fox found almost immediate employment, also the greater portion of the married couples.
